October's Stone

Opal has been called the queen of gems since antiquity — a single stone that holds every color at once. Tilt it toward the light and it shifts: flashes of green, rose, and blue moving beneath the surface, never quite the same twice. No two opals are alike, which is part of why it has always felt like such a personal stone to give.

Our opal pieces are set in 925 sterling silver and 14K gold finish, in settings drawn from antique and Victorian jewelry — hand-engraved stars, filigree bands, signet faces. Fire opal for warmth, Ethiopian opal for that milky shimmer.
